Sonny doesn`t think running around killing people is the greatest thing, but it`s his curse. Now he feels maybe his brother is cursed, too.
Ric is trying to put that whole one-night stand behind him, but it keeps coming back. The writers keep putting him in Reese`s proximity.
There`s a rift between them,
I think the baby will be born for November sweeps. When that kid comes out, he`s going to be 5-foot-2.
So Ric is forced into the position of having to do something he would never have intended to do. Ric thinks, `I have to stand by him.` He is pulled back to a place of a much darker Ric - the same place he was in when he was holding a pillow over Elizabeth`s head and chaining Carly to the wall. But when he actually shoots Ruiz, it surprises him. It certainly surprises Ruiz.
It`s a dramatic shift for my character. He has put away the hatred for his brother - the sibling rivalry, the envy. At the core of him is respect for what he knows Sonny to be, and the subtext that he can save his brother.
