I feel a bit for Andrew Symonds.
It felt like a grand final (last Sunday`s match) and I guess every game is a grand final for us now.
I`ve got the best of both worlds, being able to be there for the birth, which is probably the most important thing, and then still have a chance to be available for the first game.
The series was right on the line. We were basically playing for our lives.
I really enjoyed the partnership and you`ve got to give Glenn McGrath a lot of credit.
He (Langer) wasn`t going to bat tonight if it came down to that. I`m not sure how he will pull up tomorrow. As we all know he`s a pretty tough sort of character but at the end of the day it is just a game of cricket, and he`s got a lovely wife and four children at home.He will be monitored again in the morning but we will have to see how we go and see how he feels about it.
I spoke to Kookaburra this morning and they said we could use the bats during the one-day series not the Test matches.
I feel a bit for Andrew Symonds, but I feel honored to win. I had counted myself out of it.
We see (Graeme Smith) as a key player.
