I take pride in it and I do think about it. It`s hard to put in words, but (watching black hockey players when I was growing up) made me feel it was possible. So knowing what it meant to me and thinking that maybe there are other young black kids who want to play and are in the same situation that I was and wanting to follow that dream... it`s a neat feeling to think maybe (I can make a difference).

In the third, we were a lot more determined hockey club.

I love playing here. There have been some growing pains over the years, and I want to be here for the good times, and I think they`re coming; I really believe in what the ownership is doing and the commitment they`ve made and I`m very thankful for that and also with our teammates. There`s some grunting. The challenge is how fast you go from that tuck to that full position.

It`s going to be a great battle. Both are improved, both are quick, both like to play physical.

They`re a good team, they`re fast and we knew they would be. We`ve got to match that and unfortunately we didn`t.

In our last couple of games, we`ve just been a bit sloppier than what our game is and we`ve given up way too many goals. We`ve got to get back to doing what we do and that`s winning the defensive battles. In the last couple of games, we`ve been losing those and everybody in our room knows it. That`s where well have to start in order to get better.
