What I`m trying to be is a missing link in the music industry today, ... There`s not a lot of positive messages in music today. You hear a lot about shaking your booty and guns. You don`t hear a lot of Stevie Wonder. I`m motivated to make a difference in the world and encourage youth to be who they are.

We`re gonna do a song off the new record. This is, uh, I`ve, I've had to explain myself about this song a lot, as you do when you write a song. You have the fortunate people who realise it early on, man. They let their freak flag fly. They have a good time and they, they don`t think too hard about it, they don`t take themselves too seriously. And then there`s those poor bastards on the other side that are still trying to play it cool, man. Everyday. "I`m not f*****d up".
