It was a very magical upbringing, the quality of feeling special and people treated us special. You tried real hard to remember all the normal things, so you didn`t get twisted. I think they managed to bring me up well when Hollywood was very Hollywood. I`m obviously unusually aware of second-generation people in the business. The statistics are appalling! There are only about 3% successes.
- Edward Albert(on Lee Marvin) He was everything I hoped and feared he would be -- as unpredictable, honest, intimidating and inflammable as I had imagined. He is unusually interesting in the way that was more interesting than peace. I thought if I got out of there merely disfigured I`d be lucky.
- Candice Bergen(about "Friends" (1994)) It was the best experience, an unusually good one in TV. We all got along. The producers were great. It was wonderful being involved. I was extraordinarily lucky.
- Lisa Kudrow(James Stewart)`s appeal lay in being so unusually usual.
- Frank CapraIt was an unusually good quarter for credit losses. But it reflects a better credit environment, and the underlying earnings were strong, too.
- Mark LaneWords began to appear in English and to make some kind of equivalent. For what satisfaction it is hard to say, except that something seems unusually piercing, living, handsome, in another language, and since English is yours, you wish it to be there too.
- Robert FitzgeraldThe rains in Washington on the day that Pope John Paul II died were unusually ferocious, as if the heavens were weeping with uncontrollable sadness.
- Suzanne FieldsWe were unusually brought up; there was no gender differentiation. I was never thought of as any less than my brother.
- Maya LinHe was unusually committed to exposing the truth about AIDS in the black community, and he was unafraid to challenge conventional wisdom.
- Keith BoykinUltimately, ... I think the president is unusually good at ignoring all kinds of outside pressure with an important decision like this and focusing on the merits and what`s important for the long term.
- Angel FuentesThe transition period was utterly chaotic until we regained control and caused an unusually high level of stress in the facility, ... We were so busy working our flights and trying to manage the situation that there was little time to take care of routine, but essential work. Instead what you had were controllers finding a flight in their airspace and having to find out from the previous controller where that flight was and where it was going. It definitely slowed the system and we couldn`t work as many planes as quickly as we usually do. Controllers did a remarkable job to keep the system together.
- Anthony CummingsIt`s been hopping, ... It`s been unusually strong for this late in the season.
- Aubrey MenenThe company`s electric infrastructure was placed under a great deal of stress and performed well as our service area was battered by an unusually high number of storms. We also faced the challenge of buying reliable supplies of electricity and natural gas on behalf of our customers in a market where energy supplies tightened and prices across the U.S. nearly doubled as a result of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
