I hate going to places like Soho House (a trendy London members` club) where everyone is an actor who knows everyone else. If you are all actors how are you going to expand your mind?`
- Romola GaraiBridget Hall and I hung out for a week. The whole thing was blown out of proportion. I don`t have the guts that Romeo did. (on marriage) On love: I like girls who are intelligent, somewhat funny, and pretty with a nice personality. It`s a weird adjustment living alone, because you don`t realize how much you really miss Mumsie until she`s not there. Dark green is my favorite color. It`s the color of nature and the color of money and the color of moss! I`m not really the quiet type, although some people think I am. But I`m the rebel type in the sense that I don`t think I`m like everyone else. I try to be an individual. I`m absolutely clean. I`ve never tried anything. That`s not a lie! I`m not the sort of person who tries to be cool or trendy. I`m definitely an individual. I don`t have emotions about a lot of things. I rarely get angry, I rarely cry. I guess I do get excited a lot, but I don`t get sad and enormously happy. I think a lot of people who talk about all that crap are lying. Right now I`m just trying to maintain happiness - that`s all I really care about. Anyway, when you`re my age and your hormones are kicking in, there`s not much besides sex that`s on your mind. I hate speaking in front of a large audience. I don`t know where it came from...but its just this gut-wrenching fear of slipping up and doing something horrible. One of my passions is to meet people and then imitate them. I love doing that. I have the same problem as Edward Furlong. I`m so thin! I`m nothing like Romeo in real life. I`m shy, but when the time comes to be wild, I`m fun-loving, adventurous, and mysterious. It`s tricky stuff. If you`re not perfect in every film, then people say `see, he was just lucky in one role`. On his career: I admit I`ve done a few lousy roles in the beginning of my career, like my role in Critters 3 (1991). But at that age, you`ll do anything for attention!"
- Leonardo DiCaprioI`m not the kind of person who tries to be cool or trendy, I`m definitely an individual.
- Leonardo DiCaprio(On his most memorable pre-acting job) For a summer I was a busboy and waiter at a place in New York called Cafe Central, which was a hip, trendy restaurant in 1985. First I bused tables and was really bad at it. I`m clumsy at carrying plates and glasses. You had to have a swiftness and a facility for carrying stacked objects. That wasn`t me. I was interested in who was coming in, because it was an actor hangout. I would want to see who was talking to whom and what they were saying - basically, stuff you shouldn`t do as a person of service. Dudley Moore came into the restaurant and I was really interested in what he was saying. I kept going over to make sure that he and his companion had enough coffee and that their plates were cleared. I think I really annoyed him. I kept changing the ashtrays with that move where you put the clean ashtray over the full ashtray and remove both and put back the clean ashtray. I think I did that one time too many. Then I became a waiter there, and dealing with orders and the kitchen was worse. It prompted me to get acting work.
- Ben StillerI find a lot of young filmmakers make too much of an effort to be trendy and they can be pretentious.
- Sadie FrostSo, I think it has to do with the product and what you take to the public. If they like it, they`re going to come see you, and if they don`t, and if you`re kind of getting out of the trendy line of things, then they won`t come see you.
- Reba McEntireI worked in a lot of restaurants. Busing, mostly. I was a food runner. I was an extra on soap operas. An extra on commercials. Typical actor, huh? I delivered burritos by bicycle. All that stuff. My last real job was delivering food for this trendy restaurant. That sucked. Jobs suck! I hate jobs. This is better. I`ve got to remind myself, because I get bitchy sometimes. It could be a lot worse.
- Sam RockwellA guy walks up to me and asks, "What`s Punk?". So I kick over a garbage can and say. "That`s punk!". So he kicks over the garbage can and says, "That`s Punk?", and I say, "No that`s trendy!"
- Billie Joe ArmstrongNobody cooks at home like they cook in restaurants; they`d all be dead, ... Home cooking is not trendy at all. French cooking really consists of some few hundred recipes handed down. Everyone has a little twist on what is a classic recipe.
- Michael RobertsThey can`t take your house and give it to the mayor`s mistress, even if they pay you for it. But they can, apparently, take your house and tear it down to make room for a development of trendy shops and restaurants, a hotel and so on.
- Michael Kinsley(Cool-named writer Damien Cave adds that current consumers demand a conservation effort marketed) more like a trendy line of sneakers. ... has to be grass-roots driven and you have to allow people to participate in fun, creative ways.
- Sharon LeeEastern Europe has been really trendy. Prague is the best-preserved city in the region ... and the best beer in Europe lands on your table there for 50 cents.
- Rick StevesWhat changed our lives forever was when Malcolm had the idea to sell rock `n roll records to trendy customers.
- Vivienne WestwoodDon`t get me wrong, I think bikes are terrific. I own several of my own, including a trendy mountain style, and ride them for pleasure and light exercise.
- Brock YatesWe`re definitely a trendy cafe. We needed to start moving with the times.
- Anne DiFrancescoThe older consumers right now, ages 35 to 70 years, really know Timex, ... The 18- to 34-year-olds are the consumers we haven`t spoken to in a long time, and we want them to know our brand is very trendy, fashionable and can pretty much meet their lifestyles.
- Anthony ChukumbaIt could be really difficult, ... My job was to make it trendy. It was to make it hip, to take the face of Nixon and turn it into a salable commodity.
- Art NavarroThey`re fun, they`re funky, they`re trendy but they`re comfortable. It`s so fun to have something that lifts you up while you`re wearing a cute little spring dress.
- Artis HicksA guy walks up to me and asks `What`s Punk?`. So I kick over a garbage can and say `That`s punk!`. So he kicks over a garbage can and says `That`s Punk?`, and I say `No that`s trendy!
