I don`t think I ever had a swollen head: I remember where I come from.
- Eva HerzigovaIt was my first season of "All That" (1994). Kenan Thompson and I were playing ping- pong in this scene, and we were supposed to collide heads. As we were falling down, I hit myself in the lip with the paddle. I looked down and saw a puddle of blood, and I had to be rushed to the studio hospital with a swollen lip. My friend was like, `Don`t worry, Amanda. It doesn`t look too bad you know, thousands of women pay (for collagen injections) to have their lips that big.
- Amanda BynesI was numb and I had lots of swollen lymph nodes, my heart was hurting and I had blood clots in my arm and leg. - on his drug-induced stroke.
- Corey Haim(about kissing Patrick Wilson in The Phantom of the Opera (2004)) In this one scene, it took three days to shoot and it`s the scene where my character passionately kisses her fiancé for the first time. It was so complex with the snow coming down that it took three days to shoot. By the end of the three days I`d kissed him so much that my lips had swollen up--so much that I had to use an ice pack in between takes. Hardship, I know!
- Emmy RossumI`d go two or three days when I`d throw and it would be OK. Then I`d wake up one morning and it would be swollen.
- Bobby HigginsonMy ankle is a little swollen, my right ankle. I tried to block that out. But I`ll probably feel it really bad (this) morning.
- Allison BaverUndernourished, intelligence becomes like the bloated belly of a starving child: swollen, filled with nothing the body can use.
- Andrea DworkinWhen I got back to my father and mother and was sitting up there in our tepee, my face was still all puffed and my legs and arms were badly swollen; but I felt good all over and wanted to get right up and run around.
- Al TroutCreation destroys as it goes, throws down one tree for the rise of another. But ideal mankind would abolish death, multiply itself million upon million, rear up city upon city, save every parasite alive, until the accumulation of mere existence is swollen to a horror.
- Alan Sandals(After yesterday`s crash in the Tour de Rijke, Quick.Step`s Tom Boonen managed to train for around 100 kilometres on Sunday morning.) This morning I woke up a little bit worried about the potential consequences of yesterday`s fall during the G.P. De Rijke, where I hurt my knee, ... Fortunately the knee was not swollen. When I started to ride my bike, I understood that the problem was not serious as I feared. I trained for around 100 kilometres without problems, forcing and doing some tests on the knee. Tomorrow I will do a long training ride and then Wednesday, as scheduled, I will fly to Granada. In the Tour de France I was unlucky, yesterday not.
- Ann OakleyVibrio vulnificus is a milder bacteria in the same family as cholera that enters the body through a cut, scratch or wound or by drinking or eating something, often shellfish, contaminated with it. It can be treated with antibiotics if recognized early. If evacuees or rescue workers notice a suspicious wound that`s red, swollen or tender at the site of infection and is sometimes accompanied by a fever, they should try to get immediate medical care
