When I started dating Richard Hell, I would stay with Nancy (Spungen). She was a wannabe Sable, everybody hated her, she was so obnoxious, but I didn`t care, I had a place to stay. I tolerated her and even kind of liked her. She said she was going to London to get herself a Sex Pistol. Johnny and I had a love/hate thing. When Richard wasn`t around, we`d get together and talk. I always used to tease him about sex and he`d say I had a one-track mind. I told him that would be a good name for a song. Everyone was doing heroin, we were all strung out
- Sabel StarrWhat I absolutely can`t do is just sit around, that drives me crazy. I go nuts! I`m far too nervous, too high strung to sit around. It`s not my thing; I can`t deal with it!
- Jonathan DavisWhen we got him, he was a late 2-year-old, almost 3. (Previous trainers) tried to break him, but it was impossible. He was so high strung. He was the toughest horse I ever had to break in my life. He always had that spark. We just had to channel it in the right direction.
- Bruce MillerIn my mind, we didn`t take the step we thought we would take this year. Beyond that, we have to see the big picture and in that context, Larry has strung together some winning seasons in a row that, quite honestly, haven`t happened a lot here.
- Gary ClarkAs everyday road cars, they are not the best, ... They are quite high strung and almost demand that you push them. Although they are easy to drive, my most pervasive thought when driving on the road is `Am I going to jail today?`--and you have to really like talking to 20 people when you buy gas.
- John EvansMy results don`t show it but I don`t think I`ve played that bad. I have not strung anywhere near four rounds together.
- Mark FosterLike orient pearls at random strung.
- William JonesNot on one strand are all life`s jewels strung.
- William MorrisI remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets.
- Hamlin GarlandThe bow too tensely strung is easily broken.
