Macho was a fashionable word in the 1980s. Everybody was kind of into it, what`s macho and what isn`t macho. I really don`t know what macho is. I never have understood. Does it mean somebody who swaggers around exuding testosterone? And kicks the gate open and runs sprints up and down the street? Or does handsprings or whatever? Or is macho a quiet thing based on your security. I remember shaking hands with Rocky Marciano. He was gentle, he didn`t squeeze your hand. And he had a high voice. But he could knock people around, it was a given. That`s macho. Muhammad Ali is the same. If you talked with him in his younger years, he spoke gently. He wasn`t kicking over chairs. I think some of the most macho people are the gentlest.

I have a gym in my house in Los Angeles and a gym trailer that I can take on the road with me when I`m on location. At my house there`s a very long steep driveway. I do wind sprints that kick my 50-year-old ass. It`s part of my job. I have come to associate working out as work. Whenever I don`t have to do it for films, I kind of slack off.

I don`t like all of the crap associated with it. If I wanted to run wind sprints, I`d be a sprinter. Or if I wanted to lift weights, I`d be a weight lifter. - On why he doesn`t like doing research for the characters he plays.

All three are great competitors and give us great options in the sprints.

Whew that was some work out there. ... We took a gamble tonight. I have raced here 4 times here this year before tonight and all 4 nights the track got slick. So we decided to go with our 360 tonight and use the less horsepower to our advantage. It figures the track would be heavy. We gave em a good run though and we feel real good about our finish. Next weekend barring any unforeseen problems we should win the VRA/Bandit Sprints Grand Slam. No worries!

It`s the other Cup -- Lamar Hunt -- so it`s not a big deal, ... My hamstring, it`s killing me. I tried to make moves before the game, I shot the ball. When I tried to make sprints, I really felt it. It`s hard to start on the bench but these things happen. But the MLS season continues. I really want to play every game, not just against the Galaxy.
