Sobbing Quotes

I hate when people cry in movies. It`s particularly disconcerting when you`re sitting at a really awful movie and you hear people all around you sobbing and blowing their noses.

I find the English amazing how they got over 7/7. There were no multiple memorials with people sobbing as they would have been in America. There, they are constantly scaring people but at the same time, people think nothing of going to see a therapist.

When Peter (Peter Jackson) came up to tell me to lower my arm, something like that, tears were streaming down his face, and to see him that emotional just forced me into it . . . It (finally seeing the last three reels of the film) was a huge cry. It was all of the tension and stress and pressure of having a wife and children, having a career, the investment of these movies. I was sobbing and heaving, I could barely breathe, and the movie facilitated that. It was just a huge release.

Any film I see at two o`clock in afternoon with my mother seems to cast a strange spell that means we both come out sobbing.

The images that have been constantly on television--a city that is under water, people who have been displaced, sobbing, crying, the evacuation of people--you can have this kind of spin-doctoring and have people say all sorts of things, but I think these realities on the ground (matter).
