Slagged Quotes

I`ve managed to create a sense of banishment in so many different areas of my life. I live in Ireland, not England. I make films in America. And now I`m banished from the theater because I`ve slagged it off so much. And I did the unspeakable thing of fleeing from `Hamlet.`

- Daniel Day-Lewis

- Phil Collins

Needless to say, it`s been a difficult last couple of years. It`s heartbreaking many people now view Americans with suspicion. At one time, we were everybody`s best friend. We could go to places perceived as dangerous territories. Now, I`d think twice about asking our road crew to travel there. (May 2006)
