Cameron: (on being involved in the "Shrek" movies) I like being a part of something that has such integrity, that delivers a message as well as providing entertainment, that pushes the limits every time, particularly with technology. Every time they deliver something new and better than they did before, so just being a part of that is really wonderful
- Cameron Diaz"I hate that cat ("Puss in Boots" from Shrek 2 (2004)). Ever since he appeared in my life he`s more important than me. Now women always say, `Oh, I love that cat. He`s so cute`. Before, it was, `I loved you in Zorro`. And sometimes you think is she saying that because she has some other . . . intention? But no. They love the cat, and they hate me".
- Antonio BanderasOf Shrek 3, where he again provided the character`s voice: The first time you meet him, he`s a self-loathing ogre who doesn`t feel that he`s worthy of love. In the second one, he doesn`t feel worthy of marriage, and in this one he doesn`t feel he`s worthy of being the father of his country or being a father of a child. You know what I mean? It`s a smart progression.
- Mike MyersI get more attention as the pussycat in `Shrek 3` than I ever did as Zorro.
- Antonio BanderasI think Shrek makes an effect in older people. And there are many things in the movie that you saw that are not for kids. Kids would not understand certain things.
- Antonio BanderasI had done Shrek as a Canadian and I`m very proud to be Canadian, but I knew I could give more to it.
- Mike MyersAnd I thought, when I have kids, that`s the sort of well told, silly, and fun fairy tale that I would want to take them to. But it was an amazing experience. And I think Shrek is a real classic, a fairy tale classic.
- Mike MyersShrek is not like anything anybody has ever seen before.
- Jeffrey KatzenbergSince we made Shrek in the digital format, you actually can see it in its purest form digitally.
