I said to myself, "What is this guy`s party affiliation?" I didn`t know anything at that point. So I asked my friend, "What is Nixon?" He`s a Republican. And I said, "I am a Republican". That`s how I became a Republican."

Protectionism will do little to create jobs and if foreigners retaliate, we will surely lose jobs.

But I think that the spirit of protectionism would be the grave of European cinema. You cannot protect something by building a fence around it and thinking that this will help it survive.
