Pastels Quotes

Victorians weren`t into pastels. They liked strong, hot colors. Tropical colors.

I call (it) pistachio and the only sort of dark color in the collection is indigo but it`s a really rich blue. I don`t think you always want to wear pastels for evening. Most of the collection is sort of pale.

I did some pastels and I did other pieces in which there was just basically one color per square, and then they would get bigger and I could get 2 or 3 colors into the square, and ultimately I just started making oil paintings.
