Oversold Quotes

The market has been pretty oversold and pessimism was and continues to be widespread, so the slight improvement in the economic data this morning and the fact that the Fed kept interest rates unchanged speaks to that pessimism for now. But tech continues to suffer, when other sectors are doing fine today (Thursday).

We saw the market get so oversold that it`s not surprising that we`re getting a rebound. The market got too pessimistic about how rapidly the Fed will tighten next year.

The market got way oversold, so a lot of those things reversed themselves. And a strong U.S. dollar and strong U.S. economy have provided a backdrop for global growth.

Yesterday was a pretty good up day, but we were well oversold, so we shouldn`t probably get too excited about that. This is just the beginning of the heavy earnings results from the third quarter, and from everything we`re seeing so far, the results are pretty mixed, but guidance in general is kind of cautious for the fourth quarter.
