There was a sort of horror picture that I did called The Mutations. I think I did that solely for the money. I have six daughters, and they can be quite expensive, so one has to keep working and be able to pay the bills. I did get to work with Tom Baker. He`s a very charming, bright man and I liked him very much. I remember that movie as a very happy time; the whole gang of us were very friendly, and that means so much when you`re working together. But I surely wouldn`t list that film among my proudest moments.
- Donald PleasenceThe obvious issue that we and others, no doubt including the present authors, will wish to establish is what are the selective advantages of the mutations that are seen,
- Peter AndrewsA final proof of our ideas can only be obtained by detailed studies on the alterations produced in the amino acid sequence of a protein by mutations of the type discussed here.
- Alex AttwoodThis seems highly likely, especially as it has been shown that in several systems mutations affecting the same amino acid are extremely near together on the genetic map.
- Alex AttwoodI suspect any worries about genetic engineering may be unnecessary. Genetic mutations have always happened naturally, anyway.
- Alfred Russel WallaceThe function of literature, through all its mutations, has been to make us aware of the particularity of selves, and the high authority of the self in its quarrel with its society and its culture. Literature is in that sense subversive.
