They wouldn`t hit bait, not even live mullet. We were catching them with silver spoons. We dropped them to the bottom and jigged them up and down and the fight was on. The fish would hit as fast as you could get the lure back down again.

- Kathy BurkeIn north Biscayne Bay, there are schools of small pilchards, threadfin herring, large Spanish sardines and the first schools of finger mullet. Offshore, there are schools of ballyhoo and flying fish being chased by jacks, bonito, cero mackerel and dolphin.
