It`s not like Steven Spielberg is waiting with a script for me. I don`t think I`ll ever be offered a great international film in my lifetime, so I`d rather be a king here. Moreover, Indian cinema is the greatest in the world. But of course, after spending three months in LA, London, and New York I found that our cinema is a little exaggerated. To make a mark in the West we have to reach their level without losing our identity, culture or songs. I don`t want to star in a Hollywood film, but want to make a film that crosses over universally. - Shah Rukh KhanPassive acceptance of the teacher`s wisdom is easy to most boys and girls. It involves no effort of independent thought, and seems rational because the teacher knows more than his pupils; it is moreover the way to win the favour of the teacher unless he is a very exceptional man. Yet the habit of passive acceptance is a disastrous one in later life. It causes man to seek and to accept a leader, and to accept as a leader whoever is established in that position.
- Bertrand RussellBeing a parent is more than just helping with homework, kissing scraped knees, or nursing the chicken pox. It`s a lifelong job. Moreover, it`s the most challenging--yet the most rewarding--job you will ever have.
- Lynne SpearsMoreover, broad plans commensurate with our national purpose and resources would bring conviction of our power to every soldier in the front line, to the nations associated with us in the war, and to the enemy.
- Kelly MillerWhat`s most tragic is that this denial of basic education leads to over 1 million unnecessary child and maternal deaths a year. Moreover, children who have never seen the inside of a classroom are precisely those that face the most acute poverty, and should be the prime target of the international community if it is at all serious about realizing the United Nation`s Millennium Development Goals of halving extreme poverty by 2015.
- David ArcherIt is possible for start-up companies to be assigned a rating, but we believe that a disciplined and conservative approach in such circumstances is crucial. The outlook for the insurance market is very upbeat. Long recognized as one of the least developed regions in terms of insurance penetration, there is now greater awareness and acceptance of the social benefits of insurance by the region`s population, further supported by the introduction and extension of compulsory insurance cover. Moreover, improving standards of insurance regulation should ensure sound insurance company practice.
- Kevin Willis(on Vincent Price) He always loved a good joke. Moreover, he was kind enough to laugh at jokes that weren`t so good.
- Bob HopeHonest software resellers and consumers are hurt by illegitimate resellers. Counterfeiters offer flawed and illegal products at the fraction of the cost of genuine software. That unfairly and unjustly causes honest businesses to suffer financially. Consumers who unwittingly purchase counterfeit software are consequently cheated of the benefits that legitimate products afford, such as technical support and product updates. Moreover, illegal and illicit software may make it easier for consumers to unknowingly load dangerous, malicious code onto their systems.
- John BallWhat could be more convincing, moreover, than the gesture of laying one`s cards face up on the table?
- Jacques LacanMoreover, resolving the mother of all problems - the Israeli-Palestinian question - requires cooperation between Europe and the U.S.
- Romano ProdiMoreover, health center services save money and lives by treating diseases before they become chronic conditions, require hospital care or require a trip to the emergency room.
- Tim MurphyFirst there is a time when we believe everything, then for a little while we believe with discrimination, then we believe nothing whatever, and then we believe everything again - and, moreover, give reasons why we believe.
- Abdul RaufAcceptance is not a state of passivity or inaction. I am not saying you can`t change the world, right wrongs, or replace evil with good. Acceptance is, in fact, the first step to successful action. If you don`t fully accept a situation precisely the way it is, you will have difficulty changing it. Moreover, if you don`t fully accept the situation, you will never really know if the situation should be changed.
- Adeo RessiNo mortal man, moreover is wise at all moments.
- Adithep VanabrikshaMoreover, I want us to urge political and religious leaders, and all peoples of the world, to move forward in a conciliatory spirit, to deal with religious matters in a responsible and balanced way, and to focus on their common grounds.
- Aiko UemuraMoreover, war has become a thing potentially so terrible and destructive that it should have been the common aim of statesmen to put an end to it forever.
- Al EdwardsThe different ness of races, moreover, is no evidence of superiority or of inferiority. This merely indicates that each race has certain gifts which the others do not possess.
- Alan ChristensenMoreover, behind this vague tendency to treat religion as a side issue in modern life, there exists a strong body of opinion that is actively hostile to Christianity and that regards the destruction of positive religion as absolutely necessary to the advance of modern culture.
- Alan JustadThe fact that life has no meaning is a reason to live - moreover, the only one.
- Alderman Dana McLendonMoreover the incorporation requires the same components needed for protein synthesis, and is inhibited by the same inhibitors. Thus the system is most unlikely to be a complete artefact and is very probably closely related to genuine protein synthesis.
- Alex AttwoodThe surest method of being incomprehensible or, moreover, to be misunderstood is to use words in their original sense; especially words from the ancient languages.
- Alex GarwoodMoreover, the practical recommendations deduced from ecological principles threaten the vested interests of commerce; it is hardly surprising that the financial and political power created by these investments should be used sometimes to suppress environmental impact studies.
- Alex HamiltonMoreover, the accomplishment of Russia`s aims has been greatly simplified by the fact that we have heretofore offered the world no practical antidote for the Russian poison.
- Alfred L. KroeberMoreover, from reforming the tax code to our immigration system, to commonsense legal reform, President Bush put America on notice that he will continue fighting to make the country, and the world, a better place for future generations.
- Alice HoglanDefining marriage is a power that should be left to the states. Moreover, no state should be forced to recognize a marriage that is not within its own laws, Constitution, and legal precedents.
- Allan EvridgeMoreover, as we live in an era of the ascendancy of democracy and human rights, we must see that Taiwan has been a vibrant democracy with a democratically elected president and legislature.
- Amir AbdulzahraMoreover, environmental health at the local level has become narrowly focused, very much defined around regulations and the attendant regulatory debates.
- Andrea Gaston(To be sure, Motherboard never left the confines of the SOE stables after Simpson couched the project, citing economic reasons. Moreover,) the end product was a much-larger-scale endeavor, ... It had nothing to do with editorial content.
- Andrew VelasquezBut in the end, science does not provide the answers most of us require. Its story of our origins and of our end is, to say the least, unsatisfactory. To the question, "How did it all begin?", science answers, "Probably by an accident." To the question, "How will it all end?", science answers, "Probably by an accident." And to many people, the accidental life is not worth living. Moreover, the science-god has no answer to the question, "Why are we here?" and, to the question, "What moral instructions do you give us?", the science-god maintains silence.
- Anji BromleyThe first law for the historian is that he shall never dare utter an untruth. The second is that he shall suppress nothing that is true. Moreover, there shall be no suspicion of partiality in his writing, or of malice.
