Hiatus Quotes

I`ve been working on a lot of independent films. I`ve been working on a lot of bigger films that have fallen through and nothing happened. I worked on a lot of things that ended up falling through; not my fault. I`m in the middle of filming a movie called `Spring Break `83.` We filmed half of it in Louisiana and we`re now on a hiatus. We`ll finish filming it in Los Angeles at a time to be decided.

Well, I can tell you what my goals are. I have a son now, so I want the half-hour sitcom lifestyle, where you can have a family and work. And then, during summer hiatus, I`d like to do a Kill Bill or Wonder Woman or some movie like that.

Cast changes are a hard thing. For two years, we had this little family. We weren`t together when these changes were decided upon. It all happened during our hiatus.

It`s been over 15 years since I toured... over 12 years since I did any recording under my own name. I never really intended to take that long of a hiatus.

On other shows, guys can`t wait to put 3000 miles between them during hiatus.

(on being out in public): It is a great thing to have fans come up to you and say, `Oh my God. We love your show. What is going to happen now?` Especially with the hiatus. It is pretty cool to go out, meet your fans and feel their passion for the show as we have for the show, as well. There was a guy walking by with a cell phone, he noticed me and turned his head and opened his mouth and dropped his cell phone, which I thought was a cool thing, because I had the power of a hot woman at that moment. I have had girls come up, hug me and kiss me and run away. I am like, `Wow, don`t run away.` It has been surreal. Last year at this time, I could be walking in to a Starbucks and people wouldn`t look at me. Now I have to be well-groomed because people want to take pictures.
