I was a bad kid for a while. I`d break curfew, smoke bud, drink booze, all the usual stuff. My parents sent me to an all-boys boarding school when I was 12 -- a school designed to even out uneven boys -- and I was constantly caught smoking. You had to chop wood if you got caught smoking, so I was always chopping wood. It was a very outdoorsy school. You got graded on white-water canoeing, or they`d send you out into the woods with a pack of matches and you had to build a quinzhee and survive out there for a few days. I liked that aspect of it. When I was 16 they asked me not to return. I technically wasn`t kicked out, but I guess they caught me smoking and drinking one too many times. I still look back at it fondly as the place I learned to smoke. I can kill butts with the best of them.
- Will ArnettObviously statistics will be kept and you want to get closer to perfect. But when it comes down to it, a quarterback is graded upon winning, and that`s the area I`m looking to improve the most.
- Brady QuinnI think people forget that to be on the A list you first had to go through the original graded Parliamentary Selection Board. I did that and then like everyone else had the further interviews to get onto the A list.
- Adam RickittThe work required to reconstruct the slope was unforeseen but cannot be avoided, ... Unfortunately, this necessitates the removal of the existing trees within the area to be graded. ... We are disappointed that we must remove any trees not previously considered to be within the zone of grading operations, but we have no other viable options.
- Patrick GallagherThe discrepancy there is that alternative schools were previously exempted from the grading process. The district, in the year 2003-2004, exempted its alternative schools from the grading process. They failed to exempt the alternative schools that are charter schools. And it was just an oversight on the part of the district. All alternative schools in the district couldn`t possibly have received an F because they didn`t get graded in 2003-2004.
- Joe GreenIt`s unfortunate that sometimes in schools, there`s this need to have things quantified and graded.
