I love to be in front of big galleries.
- Natalie GulbisFirst of all, I only get 50 percent of it, because, I mean, the galleries get 50 and 60 percent. I mean, that`s normal. I understand that. I don`t quarrel with that.
- Anthony QuinnI do not paint, no. I go to galleries.
- Bryan FerryIt`s just a thrill to get out and play with pro players with cameras all around and galleries. What a beautiful place to play golf, too.
- Pat GreenI think the art world... is a very small pond, and it`s a very inbred pond. They rely on information from an elect elite sect of galleries, primarily in New York.
- Thomas KinkadeDon`t ask me my opinions on art, because I don`t have any. Aesthetic concerns have played a relatively minor role in my life, and I have to smile when a critic talks, for example, of my "palette". I find it impossible to spend hours in galleries analyzing and gesticulating. Where (Pablo Picasso)`s concerned, his legendary facility is obvious, but sometimes I`m repelled by it. I can`t stand "Guernica", which I nonetheless helped to hang. Everything about it makes me uncomfortable--the grandiloquent technique as well as the way it politicizes art. Both Alberti and (José Bergamín) share my aversion; in fact, all three of us would be delighted to blow up the painting, but I suppose we`re too old to start playing with explosives.
- Luis BuñuelI`ll be doing a show for Mark in December. I know I can definitely get him gallery representation in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, you know, Europe venues, galleries in London and Paris.
- Christopher Ford(Not only is the Internet allowing him to change his prices and offerings at will, it`s also liberating him from having to paint in the style preferred by the galleries near his Atlanta-area home.) I`m not handcuffed by geographical constraints, ... My look is pushing it for local Southern galleries, but it`s rock `n` roll in California.
- Stephen ParkerI like to go to galleries. Other people give me ideas. If I see something I like, I ask. Then I give the artists the clothes, and I forget about it.
- Issey MiyakeAnd several galleries - two had asked me and I said no, because I didn`t want to leave things on consignment.
- Al LangsenkampWe were looking at the space when we were designing the whole suite of galleries, and we noticed that the ceiling was so tremendously high that we could easily make two floors of it. So what we did -- instead of the original idea of mixing decorative arts and paintings from the 12th century onward -- we have more or less separated the decorative arts from the paintings.
- Andrianne HannOne of the chief considerations of the decorative arts galleries was that they should be suitable for the display of textiles, and for this initial exhibition we have chosen mainly textiles from the 15th through the 17th centuries.

- Andrianne HannDespite goodwill on all sides, and a shared wish that a purchase for the nation should take place, it has not been possible to reach an agreement that the two galleries could finance,
- Andy MurphyWhen Sir Humphry Davy returned from a visit to Paris he was asked how the picture galleries had impressed him. "The finest collection of frames I ever saw," he said.
- Ariel NishriThe art galleries of Paris contain the finest collection of frames I ever saw.
- Ariel NishriIt really pleases me that `Maat` did so well, ... You don`t see a lot of mixed media art like mine in galleries and it felt good to know that people enjoyed her.
- Arthur LifshinSteven would learn far more from sitting in a tea house or going to art galleries than someone interviewing the prime minister.
