Expatriate Quotes

I guess I wanted to leave America for awhile. It wasn`t that I wanted to become an expatriate, or just never come back, I needed some breathing room. I`d already been translating French poetry, I`d been to Paris once before and liked it very much, and so I just went.

I know my own deficiencies, one of which is that I had lived away from America for such a long time. It`s called expatriate.

Expatriates often have to learn to live with a different amount of space than they were accustomed to. It is just part of the experience of being an expatriate.

Generally expatriate packages these days do not have all the bells and whistles on they used to and they don`t have so many perks.
