"Really I must admit,I support feminism as a form of rose tinted optimism. My views on the matter are actually more extreme than feminism. Look, here it is, women are simply functioning at a higher evolutionary phase than men. But, because we would like to beleave in total equality, as feminists we try very hard to convince ourselves that sexism is purely a social construct, and that it`s not really the fault of males themselves, so much as the sexist male dominted culture. I simply can`nt accept the "nurture" theory on this issue. A sexist social envioronmet is indeed a big part of the problem, but the problem goes much deepr. The anti-female mainstreem culture we live under results in cartoonish amplification of pre-existing insecurities that are the result of a genuuine inequality between males and females. Men subconsciously know that women are smarter and more powerfull they are, and this has resulted in a culture of brutish male domination based on male fears. These fears are founded in reality, though pointless. I fully embrace my role as humble servant to the feminine. I hope to lead by example. To show other men it`s ok to be the right hand of the women in our lives. We need to step down, and let women run the show now. They really do know more than we do, and we really should just shut up and listen to them. Women rule and we drool, and it`s ok. So what,we`re not that bright, and we smell, and we are insecure and like to hit eachohter. But if we show any hint of good behavior, or possible evolutionary advancment, women praise and love us for it. In other words, they do`nt and should`nt expect too much out of us, but if we can just stop being so damn wretched and vile and evil all the time, maybe just maybe men can someday be as evolved as women. Maybe, but I`m not holding my breath. I have a copy of "Scum Manifesto" in my library, and it`s not collecting any dust."
- Byron StewartThe striking evolutionary conservation of ratchetting points suggests that recursive splicing provides specific advantages for large introns, ... One possibility is that recursive splicing prevents the generation of long RNA transcripts that could form structures that interfere with correct processing into mRNA. Another is that recursive splicing might help stimulate transcription through long introns by promoting interactions between the splicing and transcription machineries. We also know already that recursive splicing is used to control the removal of certain exons from mRNAs, generating structural and functional variation among the gene products.

- Javier LópezAnimals have over evolutionary time survived these disturbances over and over and over again, ... Individual adaptation to the environment will serve them as it does in normal circumstances.
- Mark WallaceAnyway, the title The War of the Insect Gods came before we had that ending, before we knew they had become gods. That we knew the evolutionary cycle they went through. Before we even knew anything about that. We had an ending.
- Michael O'DonoghueThe major novelty of my theory was its claim that the most rapid evolutionary change does not occur in widespread, populous species, as claimed by Most geneticists, but in small founder populations.
- Alejandro QueralI have been unable to discover in Darwin`s writings any connection between allopatric speciation and change of evolutionary rate.
- Alejandro QueralIndeed, I was unable to find any evidence whatsoever of the occurrence of a drastic evolutionary acceleration and genetic reconstruction in widespread, populous species.
- Alejandro QueralMost of them are doomed to rapid extinction, but a few may make evolutionary inventions, such as physiological, ecological, or behavioral innovations that give these species improved competitive potential.
- Alejandro QueralIt seems to me that for Darwin the pulsing of evolutionary rates was a strictly vertical phenomenon.
- Alejandro QueralI agree with Gould that the frequency of stasis in fossil species revealed by the recent analysis was unexpected by most evolutionary biologists.
- Alejandro QueralThere aren`t just bad people that commit genocide; we are all capable of it. It`s our evolutionary history.
- Alfred Russel WallaceI think we`re proving ourselves as we go along. The past several months our strategy has been evolutionary - making maximum advantage of our client browser, as well as our enterprise software for people who want to build Web sites.
- Alia KaneshiroI can`t think of anyone who is up on evolutionary psychology and related areas who is deluded enough to be called a utopian.
- Allen MerrittThere is no controversy within science over the core proposition of evolutionary theory.
- Allen SaleThe culmination of all of that was the decision to start a company, which became Lotus, to do a product, which became 1-2-3. By the time I reached that point it had been four years, and it felt like a lifetime, but really it was kind of evolutionary.
- Amber HowserEvolutionary cosmology formulates theories in which a universe is capable of giving rise to and generating future universes out of itself, within black holes or whatever.
- André GlucksmannThrough the evolutionary process, those who are able to engage in social cooperation of various sorts do better in survival and reproduction.
- André GlucksmannThat connection between evolutionary cosmology and the theory of objectivity that I was formulating pleased and excited me a lot.
- André GlucksmannEvolutionary psychology is one of four sciences that are bringing human nature back into the picture.
- Andrei IllarionovEvolutionary psychology is taking that mindset and applying it to more emotionally charged aspects of behavior, such as sexuality, violence, beauty, and family feelings.
- Andrei IllarionovIn fact, the socialization gives us the tools to fill our evolutionary roles. They are our building blocks.
- Andrew LeipoldEvolutionary Darwinists need to understand we are taking the dinosaurs back. This is a battle cry to recognize the science in the revealed truth of God.
- Anil KhatodFrom our point of view, however, any interpretation of Genesis which accommodates the standard system of evolutionary geological ages is a clear-cut compromise with atheistic evolution, and it is very sad that Christians who profess to believe the Bible as the Word of God will not acknowledge this.
- Ariana SpeyerOur kids will leave this school understanding evolutionary theory and creation theory and being able to work with both right through the science syllabus.
- Atanu RahaEvolutionary theory says if there is a God, then he has not made things by means of design, purpose or, in the creationist point of view, with immediacy.
- Atanu RahaI think we should teach a lot about evolution. In fact, I think we should teach more than the evolutionary science teachers want the students to know. The problem is what we`re getting is a philosophy that`s claimed to be scientific fact, a lot of distortion in the textbooks, and all the difficult problems left out, because they don`t want people to ask tough questions.
