You finish a movie and you think, there, you`ve done it, really well, or best you can. But if you watch it, you see it was just bullocks. You have to look at the discrepancy between what you hoped and imagined and the reality of yourself and all your shortcomings. You only see your own failure. I`d rather stick with the first idea - just have the experience of working - and leave it at that. You`ve got to protect the old bravado.
- Richard E. GrantNo, I think that we`ve got a basic discrepancy here between the rule of law versus the rule of man.
- Roy MooreThe discrepancy there is that alternative schools were previously exempted from the grading process. The district, in the year 2003-2004, exempted its alternative schools from the grading process. They failed to exempt the alternative schools that are charter schools. And it was just an oversight on the part of the district. All alternative schools in the district couldn`t possibly have received an F because they didn`t get graded in 2003-2004.
- Joe GreenThe discrepancy is entirely based, I think, on the fact that I write best when I`m writing about what I know, and that is British history.
- Bernard CornwellYou have to look at the discrepancy between what you hoped and imagined and the reality of yourself and all your shortcomings.
- Richard GrantIf we divine a discrepancy between a man`s words and his character, the whole impression of him becomes broken and painful; he revolts the imagination by his lack of unity, and even the good in him is hardly accepted.
- Alan FeldmanI thought we did a lot of good things that we haven`t done on the road. The discrepancy in foul shots ... that`s a big difference. We never got into the bonus, so we never had a chance.
