Dense Quotes

Poetry is a very subjective and intimate expression. It`s literally your heartbeat. Your rhythm. The song of your soul. It`s superconcentrated. It`s a dense piece of yourself.

The most attention I get is in a book store or video shop when I go to the foreign film section. Sometimes that can be fun, but usually those women want to talk about philosophy or something very dense. It`s not like they`re tearing off my shirt, you know.

A lot of people describe me as chubby, which seems so easy, so first-choice. Or stocky. Fair-skinned. Tow-headed. There are so many other choices. How about dense? I mean, I`m a thick kind of guy. But I`m never described in attractive ways. I`m waiting for somebody to say I`m at least cute. But nobody has.

I wanted something very dense, something that would sustain long and more pieces of wood that would be soft, sweet, for more of a mellow sound.

If the fire cycle gets interrupted, dense fuels that don`t get consumed (in smaller, cooler fires) flare up, and you get burns on a larger scale, with higher intensity. We probably have made it worse: We can put out the easy fires, but we cannot (as easily) put out the bad ones.

Pride works frequently under a dense mask, and will often assume the garb of humility.
