(on working with actor Paul Muni on "A Song to Remember") He was very difficult to work with. He said he didn`t want to hear how I did it, he had no interest in how I portrayed it, he had his own conception of Chopin and he told me he`d worked on his role in relation to that conception, and he didn`t care how I played it. And that was the approach to teamwork on that film.
- Cornel WildeI got obsessed with classical music, I got obsessed with Chopin, with playing the piano.
- Gary OldmanI play the piano and have been playing since I was 7, mainly classical Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart.
- Kiana TomI do not sing nor play, but I adore music, particularly Chopin. I like him because I cannot understand him.
- Amanda Gunterthe almost sculpted clarity of his playing, and his ability to maintain balance and tension in large-scale dramatic forms. I have no doubt that he will join the ranks of the finest interpreters of Chopin.
