Cartoonish Quotes

(Criticizing the film adaptation of Sin City (2005)): That was so painfully cartoonish I was offended. I don`t know how you enjoy or laugh about a child abduction and molestation. What part of that sentence is funny? I can`t get beyond that. I don`t know if everyone understands the impact of that movie`s message.

The anti-female mainstreem culture we live under results in cartoonish amplification of pre-existing insecurities that are the result of a genuuine inequality between males and females. Men subconsciously know that women are smarter and more powerfull they are, and this has resulted in a culture of brutish male domination based on male fears. These fears are founded in reality, though pointless. I fully embrace my role as humble servant to the feminine. I hope to lead by example. To show other men it`s ok to be the right hand of the women in our lives. We need to step down, and let women run the show now. They really do know more than we do, and we really should just shut up and listen to them. Women rule and we drool, and it`s ok. So what,we`re not that bright, and we smell, and we are insecure and like to hit eachohter. But if we show any hint of good behavior, or possible evolutionary advancment, women praise and love us for it. In other words, they do`nt and should`nt expect too much out of us, but if we can just stop being so damn wretched and vile and evil all the time, maybe just maybe men can someday be as evolved as women. Maybe, but I`m not holding my breath. I have a copy of "Scum Manifesto" in my library, and it`s not collecting any dust."

They`re all based on factual characters. Well, a good amount of them. That`s why I was attracted to this genre anyways, because these characters are so large and cartoonish, they`re like caricatures, I just felt that there had to be a film made about them.

They wanted to make her less rural, less of a cartoon. Not that Southern woman are cartoonish - they`re the strongest women in this country, but with Val they wanted to take the stereotypical things out.

This was more of a cartoonish thing for me and it kind of took me back to SCTV, in a way, where the characters are just a little broader and you can have that kind of fun going a little over the edge.
