What I hate about our business today is the elitism. So-called stars ride in private jets and have bodyguards and dietitians and beauticians. Tom Cruise is a midget and he has eight bodyguards all 6 feet 10, which makes him even more diminutive. It`s an absolute joke.

I don`t really have many extravagances. I don`t fly private jets and I don`t have bodyguards and I don`t buy crazy things. I have a couple of houses here and there. Actors have bodyguards and entourages not because anybody wants to hurt them - who would want to hurt an actor? - but because they want to get recognized. God forbid someone doesn`t recognize them.

I don`t like wearing dark glasses. I`m happy with the fact that people know me. I want people to scream and shout at me, I want people to trouble me when I`m having lunch, I like six bodyguards around me. I love being a star. I find it very strange when people who are famous say they don`t want to be photographed. I don`t want to be photographed first thing in the morning, I don`t want people peeping into my bedroom, but besides that, it`s a wonderful life.

Truthfully, ... obviously good music and a good live show is important, and you have to make sure your fans like them. But most importantly having cool vibes and nice people because there`s nothing worse than spending a month with a band that you don`t connect with and you don`t have fun with, and they take themselves too seriously and they have bodyguards, you know what I mean, they act like they`re something they`re not.
