Our foreign policy needs to support our energy, economic, defense and domestic policies. It all falls within the arch of national interest. There will be windows of opportunity, but they will open and close quickly.
- Chuck HagelThere is another Motley Crue band out of Connecticut. We`re arch enemies,
- Brian MillerIt always feels good to put on the McDonald`s uniform and see that big arch on the hood of the car, ... California is the kind of track that suits us pretty well. We`ve had some good qualifying and race runs there in the past.
- Bill ElliottThe ancient Romans had a tradition: whenever one of their engineers constructed an arch, as the capstone was hoisted into place, the engineer assumed accountability for his work in the most profound way possible: he stood under the arch.
- Michael ArmstrongThings have gotten a lot better. Earlier this year -- in February, right after the Hope -- I found out I would basically stand up and arch my back at the top of the swing. It prevented me from playing well, and was also giving me back problems. I was basically hurting myself with every swing. And I was making huge compensations. I had to take two months off, and it took months after that to get to playing well again.
- Anne GrantThere, right in the midst of our lives, is that which satisfies the craving for inequality, and acts as a permanent reminder that medicine is not food. Hence a man's reaction to monarchy is a kind of test. Monarchy can easily be '˜debunked;` but watch the faces, mark the accents of the debunkers. These are the men whose tap-root in Eden has been cut: whom no rumour of the polyphony, the dance, can reach - men to whom pebbles laid in a row are more beautiful than an arch. Yet even if they desire equality, they cannot reach it. Where men are forbidden to honour a king they honour millionaires, athletes or film-stars instead: even famous prostitutes or gangsters. For spiritual nature, like bodily nature, will be served; deny it food and it will gobble poison.
