She did an awesome job. It`s a beautiful story for her to win in front of her home crowd.
I am probably in the best shape I`ve ever been in but I haven`t raced. I was so nervous at the start my hands were absolutely jumpy. I haven`t run a 400 for seven months so I was just petrified.
I`m ecstatic, it was quite an easy run. I finished that with no problem. I wasn`t tired, I wasn`t fatigued, I felt tall, open and strong and that is a great spot to be in this close to the Games.
I feel great. I didn`t have any kick in my legs in Sydney two weeks ago but I had to hold it back today. It`s the old me, I`ve been praying for it to arrive.
I feel fantastic, really strong over the last 100m. Twenty days to go. I`m ready to go.
That is where all the talk should be done, nowhere else.
I`ve just had a tight hamstring since Brisbane (last week). I didn`t want to risk it, I`m in too good a shape to risk my Commonwealth Games this year. That`s it really.
I`m pretty close to that (a low 53sec) now, so I`m pretty confident.
I have never seen anything like it,
We had no food, no electricity, we moved floors in the hotel because the ground floor was flooded. Three people who were staying there passed away after they were electrocuted when they went out on the street.
