Politics is a contact sport.

There`s so much mudslinging going on, and people get so turned off by that. It seems like neither party is aware of that. They`re too concerned with blasting each other.

Even with not having a balanced budget at this time, I support tax cuts. That will help limit spending.

To build a home or open a business, it`s so frustrating because you have to go to so many different offices at City Hall and get run-around answers.

We`ve passed an energy bill in the House, to help us be less reliant upon foreign oil so we can get gas prices down. But nothing happens in the Senate.

You have to starve the Beast. That`s one of the most important things about tax cuts. If you leave the money in Washington, it`s going to be spent.

It`s appropriate to show the differences on issues between the candidates and to educate the public so they can make a decision.

I think it`s very easy to get corrupted.

People say that everybody has the right intentions when they first run, then they end up being corrupted by the system. I think many are.

If people use common sense and their own guiding moral compass, I think they`ll generally stay out of trouble.
